Amazing! I've always heard great things about Dyson vacuum's but it wasn't until I got my own and discovered the amazing technology and power of the vacuum, I have carpet in my house and it really is incredible how much it sucks up without damaging. Would recommend this product to anybody, especially with animals.

This vacuum is the way to go!!! I can't find a single fault with it, the attachments perform exactly how they're designed to perform, it's light, it's quick, it's easy, it's powerful enough, it's just the best thing since sliced bread. I vacuum so much more now, and actually ENJOY it. My husband accuses me of showing off with it. I can't comment on that, but I CAN recommend every mother of young children to GET YOU A CORDLESS VACUUM. Now I dont feel grumpy when the kids make a mess, and so I don't have to feel guilty later on for snapping at them for what was an unimportant accident. I vacuum before bedtime, I vacuum after clearing away toys, I vacuum before guests, my house is cleaner than its been in a LONG while (read: since having babies). I'm in love. No, it doesn't make the dinner and put the kids to bed, but until they perfect robots, I'll choose this over any other appliance. It’s great very convenient and easy to use. Great for stairs and dusting the window sills and shelves all over the house.. However, the battery does not last long enough especially on high. An interchangeable battery pack would be excellent. I use it all the time, except for the big vacuum clean days, as I need power and long lasting especially on carpet.

Needed a cordless and handy option for tile and hardwood floors to keep the place clean. I love how handy the v8 is, and the fact that I can go over the whole 4 bed house without having to stop-plug-unplug and drag a vacuum along. I like the two power options too, I can rev it up for the small carpeted area and the less power does fine for the tiles etc. I have had the dyson for over a month now with daily use for a messy family. If I am just vaccuming the high traffic areas and a room or two, the battery lasts me two days. Charging time, if gou do run out, is 5 hrs though. Have only had to wait that long when I tried to use it for the third day without a top up.
