Honestly, I don't know why people complaining about the noise level and it's not power full enough. I just received the fan and it took me literally 5 minutes from unpacking to an assembled running fan. Straight away, I cranked the power to the max to test out the noise level and amount of air it can produce. The noise level is nowhere near what some of the reviews are saying (more than liveable!) and the amount of air coming out of it is awesome! Nice and cool air! Love my purchase and awesome job Dyson! Lastly, I know it's a bit pricey but you buying an awesome looking piece of tech that work and look nothing like any other fans! I'm a fan Dyson, just not a fan of the AM05 noise level.

Aesthetically pleasing, but very noticeably less effective than a standard $30 fan. Would be good in conjunction with AC to push cool air around. I purchased it not expecting too much, but thought it may take the edge off. It doesn't really. And it is very loud. I am not yet convinced it is worth it. We'll see. I like other dyson products too.
